Introducing a new and exciting innovation at O'Neils Gems . . . . since 2006 O'Neils Gems as been developing fantastic, high resolution gemstone videos showing the stones from all angles. Photographs of gemstones are helpful, but they don't show the stone's three dimentional beauty. By viewing any one of the 20 second videos you can gain a full appreciation of the gemstone as a whole i.e. the general proportions, the thickness of the girdle, the depth of the pavilion, the size of the table, the precision of the faceting, any colour zoning and inclusions and the quality of colour. All of these elements are important considerations when buying a gemstone of any kind. That's why we go to considerable time and effort to display the stone in full in this way. There are aproximatley 260 videos to view at the moment, but within a matter of weeks everygemstone on this site will be accompanied by a video.
